For those customers requiring CNG powered buses we are proud to offer CNG as an option on almost every model! These buses are CARB compliant for use in California as well as everywhere else! We work closely with BAF Technologies to bring you these high tech green machines. We start with a specially prepared bus chassis that has had the necessary engine upgrades to accept CNG. Next the chassis goes to Federal Coach where it is outfitted to your exact specifications. Once the finishing touches are put on the bus it heads to BAF Technologies in Dallas, Texas to receive the highest quality CNG conversion. Once complete, the unit can be shipped directly to the customer or can be picked up right here in Las Vegas.
Thanks to a hefty tax credit, the CNG conversion cost is 80% offset by the government! CNG buses are both economical and reliable alternatives to traditional fueled vehicles and hybrids. Some metropolitan areas such as airports are now limiting commercial access to strictly alternative fueled vehicles such as CNG buses.
